Turnstile Repair. At Security Solutions the service and maintenance team daily attend equipment which has sustained damage from vehicle impact, adverse weather conditions, human intervention and general wear and tear. The Fix for this week is a half height turnstile system use to direct the flow of pedestrian traffic in a St Albans fitness centre. The client who has centres nationwide uses our services for emergency call out and repairs as and when required.
On this occasion damage to the entrance turnstile was sustained due to vandalism and user error. On inspection our engineer identified damage had occurred to the turnstile head. On returning to site the turnstile head was replaced along with the glass infill panel. The system was checked and operational within the day.
