Security Solutions have recently been awarded a four year contract working with one of the Uk’s largest territorial Police Forces. To undertake a contract of this size we are recruiting two field service engineers in the Greater London area:
Field Service / Installation Engineer – Automatic Doors & Gates, Traffic Barriers, Bollards, Road Blockers & Turnstiles
Due to continued expansion we have a position for an experienced gate automation engineer to be based on sites – in and around the M25 area.
The ideal candidate:
Industry Experience working with automated equipment
Be hardworking and able to work on own initiative
Possesses a CSCS or similar
ADSA, Gate Safe or DHF Gate Safety accreditation
Committed to meeting deadlines
A Team player
Come from an electro – mechanical background
Preferable 17th Edition IEE
Be willing to carry out some overtime when required
Included within a callout rota 24/7
Have a good understanding of the legal requirements of the automation industry, including risk assessments, force testing, and Cat 2 and Cat 3 safety edges.
Preferable if you have had previous electronic, industrial doors and door entry system experience
Working as part of an operational team to provide and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction is maintained
You will also be required to go through a UK based security clearance.
Applicants must have a clean driving licence and will be provided with a company van, mobile phone, and other devices deemed necessary and company uniform.
In return we offer:
42 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 17:00, Friday 8am – 16:30.
A competitive salary, depending on your experience.
28 Days holiday including bank holidays – on completion of 2 years continuous service accrue 1 day per year to maximum of 5 days totalling 33 days including bank holidays.
