SSHSTS 3000 LPS C5 High Security Turnstile

Security Solutions realised there was a demand for a turnstile unit that could control pedestrian footfall, zone off restricted areas whilst being able to withstand forced entry. Security Solutions SSHSTS Full Height Turnstile can be installed internally or externally and is delivered as a completed unit. Manufactured from galvanised steel the imposing unit acts as an aggressive visual deterrent.

The SSHSTS Full Height Turnstile not only acts as a visual deterrent but also offers zero penetration, withstanding various methods of forced entry and gaining LPS SR3 Security Rating.

Loss Prevention Standard (LPS) 1175: Issue 8. is an important security standard. The standard relates to requirements and testing procedures for the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) approval and listing of intruder resistant building components, strong points, security enclosures and free-standing barriers. Pass rates achieved under strict testing carried out by BRE.

These ratings are split into eight different security ratings (SR levels), each one intended to represent a distinct threat scenario.

As each rating goes up, both tool-kit and attack duration change.

The basis for this is that if an attacker is likely to use more severe tools in an attack, then they’ll also be more committed to the attack, so will spend longer trying to defeat the product before abandoning.
