Automatic Bollard Routine Maintenance. The Fix for this week is an automatic bollard routine maintenance visit. Our client holds a White Service and Maintenance contract, the White contract covers two site visits per year to conduct a full service and preventative maintenance inspection of the equipment covered and also includes a preferential response time to call outs. Our client, manages and facilitates the maintenance and repair of security equipment for one of the largest vehicle auction companies in the UK, covering seventeen sites nationwide.
Security Solutions engineer attended site to conduct a routine maintenance visit. The bollard parts were removed and cleaned. Once refitted, full operational tests were carried out. The safety loops on both bollards were checked and tested along with remote control and key button access control systems. The traffic light units were fully cleaned and checked to be in operational order with the bollard positions. To complete the maintenance visit the hydraulic oil in the units was topped up to full levels.
