Cables Retail Park is a popular retail development on the outskirts of Prescot town centre. The park’s 14 units are currently home to Next, Outfit, M&S Simply Food, JD Sports, Tesco, Argos, Boots, Pets at Home, Subway, Carphone Warehouse, TK Maxx and McDonald’s and EE.
Cables is presently under the management of the Brookhouse Group who are renowned for their work in the out of town retail sector, specialising in the regeneration and construction of retail parks.
The Brookhouse Group has an extensive property portfolio that spans across residential, retail and commercial sectors. Following a gate installation by Security Solutions at Parsonage Retail Park in Leigh, Security Solutions were selected to design and install a bespoke three gate system automatic security system for the Parks service and delivery area.
The service yard main entrance and exit is now protected by an 8 metre SSHG Automatic Double Leaf Hinge Gate System, controlled by a keypad entry system along with a HGV intercom for deliveries. Additionally a SSSG Automatic Cantilever Sliding Gate, SSSH Automatic Single Leaf Hinge Gate and Three Pedestrian gates positioned to zone off certain areas within the service yard completed the installation.
