Security Solutions wins contract at Fleetwood Town FC
26/05/11 - Security Solutions has won the order to supply and install stadia turnstiles at Fleetwood Town Football Club.
Along with previous installations at Doncaster, Wimbledon, Hibernian and Blackpool football stadiums, Security Solutions has a proven track record in successful completion of stadia turnstile projects.
The Fleetwood Town FC project, comprises of the bespoke manufacture and installation of customised turnstiles to meet Fleetwood Town’s specific requirements i.e. five double pod units and two single pod units – due to a number of the stadia pods being installed externally, the finish is to be galvanised and powder coated to prevent deterioration and corrosion, which is no mean feat at a seaside town.
Andrew Price, Security Solutions Area Sales Manager said “prior to being awarded the contract, we had to prove to the customer that we had a track record in the manufacture and installation of stadia turnstile pods. We provided information, details and reference sites of similar projects followed by a visit to our manufacturing facility in Bolton to show where and how the stadium turnstile pods are made. Once we had demonstrated that we had the capabilities and experience to handle the whole project and meet their specific needs Security Solutions were awarded the contract to provide Fleetwood Town FC with stadium turnstile pods.”
The project which has now started on site and is due to be completed in June 2011.
